Anderson Cottage Dominates OHB Winter Olympics

The youth from the Home’s Anderson Cottage won by a whopping 27 points over second-place Neef Cottage to win the2015 Omaha Home for Boys Winter Olympics. Bruner Cottage finished third.

The Cottage champs and individual medal winners were recognized February 18 during evening dinner. The four-week, 13-event Olympics — which included mostly traditional summer Olympic events like swimming, basketball and volleyball — crowned seven individual champions.

The event was coordinated and run by our Recreation Department staff, and we’re very proud of the tremendous work they did to teach our youth abouthealthy competition, teamwork, humility and perseverance.
