Rebecca Atkins joins OHB Board of Directors

We are honored to announce the election of Rebecca Atkins to our Board of Directors. Rebecca will serve as a Director on the board leading OHB.

Rebecca has several years of experience working in higher education and is currently a Career Advisor in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She holds B.S. and M.P.A. degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Bellevue University, respectively.

Rebecca has extensive community involvement, having served as a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor as well as a mentor through Bellevue Public Schools after-school program. She is currently a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber’s Young Professionals Council, where she serves as the Talent Development Chair.

“I am a firm believer in youth development through education and am passionate about helping underserved populations,” said Rebecca. “OHB is a wonderful organization whose mission I am honored to support by serving as a board member.”

Rebecca is no stranger to Omaha Home for Boys, having previously served on the Program Committee and the Education and Scholarship Committee at OHB.

“We are truly honored to have Rebecca join our Board of Directors,” said Jeff DeWispelare, OHB President & CEO. “She is very dedicated to helping youth in this community and her experience in higher education will be extremely valuable in guiding OHB.”

Leading the Omaha Home for Boys Board of Directors is the Executive Committee:  Board Chair Kirsten Case, Vice Chair Allen Straub, Treasurer James E. Kelley, Secretary Victor Baez, Director Aileen Warren and Director Randy Behounek.
